Ofsted
EY481467
We had our Ofsted inspection in 2022. The grading system for out-of-school clubs was changed, meaning settings now receive either “Met” or “Not Met.” We were pleased to receive “Met”, and the inspector also commented that we demonstrated outstanding qualities.

The JK Club is an Ofsted-registered provision. While the name Ofsted is widely recognised, the role and requirements of Ofsted are not always fully understood.
As an Ofsted-regulated provision, we are required to meet specific standards to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of the children in our care. As a wraparound childcare provision, we care for children from Reception age and above.
For children in Reception, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework, which sets the standards for learning, development, and care for children in their early years.
For children in Year 1 and above, we follow a separate set of standards known as the Compulsory Childcare Register. Although these frameworks apply to different age groups, the requirements are very similar, and we work hard to ensure we consistently meet and maintain these standards.
To support this, we have created a comprehensive document outlining how we meet all relevant requirements and ensure we remain up to date with any regulatory changes. These documents are reviewed annually, or sooner if any updates are introduced.
Links to these documents are provided below so you can see how we meet these requirements within JK Club.
